Purpose
To provide a process and plan for the anticipation and management of an emergency or disaster affecting The Blue Fund Group (the “Trust”). This disaster recovery plan (the “Plan”) is intended to provide for the safety and continuity of the Trust’s business operations.
Background
Virtually all functions of the Trust are performed under contract by third party organizations, i.e., Blue Investment Management, LLC and BISYS Fund Services (hereinafter, “Third Party Service Providers”). Each of the Third Party Service Providers has established a disaster recovery plan that has been reviewed and evaluated by management to the Trust. Each has been determined to satisfactorily provide for the safekeeping of records of the Trust, and the provision of service to the Trust necessary to maintain the continuity of the Trust’s essential business functions during emergencies and disasters.
Implementation
Implementation of this Plan involves the systematic review and evaluation of disaster recovery plans of Third Party Service Providers. It also involves coordination of information and responses appropriate under the circumstances with respect to the Trustees, officers, and Third Party Service Providers. Officers of the Trust, as designated in APPENDIX A, will hold positions as indicated and will be authorized and responsible for implementation of this Plan:
Plan Manager: The Plan Manager manages and directs recovery efforts on behalf of the Trust, communicates with Third Party Service Providers regarding needed recovery operations, and reports to the Board of Trustees of the Trust on the status of any recovery operation.
Business Operations Manager: The Business Operations Manager acts as liaison between the Plan Manager and other designated contact individuals involved with maintenance of the Trust’s business operations, coordinates gathering and dissemination of information necessary to analyze and respond to the emergency or disaster, and reviews and maintains copies of all disaster recovery plans of Third Party Service Providers. The Business Operations Manager also maintains updated contact information with respect to each Trustee and officer of the Trust as well as all personnel of Third Party Service Providers deemed necessary for the prompt response to any emergency or disaster affecting the operations of the Trust. All individuals required to provide contact information shall inform the Business Operations Manager of any change in information within 72 hours of such change.
The Business Operations Manager shall review, at least annually, this Plan and the disaster recovery plans of all Third Party Service Providers and report his findings to the Plan Manager. The Plan Manager shall report to the Board of Trustees of the Trust on disaster recovery matters on no less than an annual basis.
